Free Community Health Checks – DaSH Study
We are pleased to be working in partnership with the University of Auckland on an important research project called the DaSH Study, aimed at improving services and supporting healthy ageing in our community.
About the DaSH Study
The study looks at how many adults are living with:
• Diabetes
• Sensory health conditions, particularly relating to:
• Eye health
• Hearing
• Foot health
It also aims to understand how accessible current health services are for people with these conditions.
Free Health Checks Available
Adults are being randomly selected through GP clinics and invited to take part in a free health check, which includes screening for:
- Diabetes
- Eye health
- Hearing
- Foot health
Clinic Dates in Waiuku
DaSH Study Clinics will be held at Waiuku Health Centre 28 Apr – 1 May
