Fee Update: Effective 5 October 2026

From 5th October 2026, there will be increases in some patient co-payments at Waiuku Health Centre.

Like other primary care practices, we continue to face increasing costs. We have kept the increase as limited as possible, while recognising the need to maintain a sustainable service for our community. The additional income will help us to recruit and retain the clinical and support staff needed to provide safe, accessible care and maintain the range of services available.

New fees for face to face and virtual appointments with a GP or Nurse Practitioner will be:

For non-ACC Car Clinic and Triage Appointments (incl. GP Phone Triage) New Consult Fees will be:

We are also increasing our ACC co-payments to bring them more closely into line with those charged by other practices in our local area.

We recognise that any increase in healthcare costs affects our patients. These changes represent the minimum uplift we believe is necessary to support the ongoing sustainability of the practice, while keeping fees as affordable as possible.

We aim to keep fees to a minimum while offering fair pay to staff and ensuring our services are sustainable.

If you have difficulty paying for your appointment, please let us know. One option is to set up a small regular automatic payment to spread the cost.
